…uld, rather than allowing them the freedom to exist in a way that is unique and requires no change. It is placing the expectation on many thousands of (particularly young) people that they must change their physical appearance/bodies in order to align themselves with their (or society’s) preconceptions, rather than celebrating their differences and beauty as they are.

NO! This idea is harmful and contributes to the deconstruction of trans youths rights and humanity. As someone who came out as a young person (11), and heard this EXACT lecture from my mom, your “ideas" have real harm. It’s so upsetting to see this getting credit and attention, even from fellow trans people. This idea HURTS us!
