I don't know. I agree that not all trans people exist to break barriers, they simply exist, but I really find comfort and reason in the idea that my identity is inherently revolutionary. In my view, trans rights must come with the shift away from sex equating with gender. Also, sometimes transitioning isn't as much of a "want" as a "need", in my case my options consisted of death or hormones, honestly.
