did you mean gender critical ideology? I’m pretty sure “gender theory” is that you’ve described this whole article; that gender is internal (a phenotype) and that’s why trans people generally need to transition. From my understanding, gender theory is that gender is NOT based on stereotypes (despite being influenced by them) just as you said.
